Every photo, video, and first lands on the day it happened, so the journal reads the way it was lived. Add a first when it happens: first smile, first tooth, first steps. Age milestones appear on their own, week by week, then month by month, and the journal always says how old your child was.

Family and friends, invited by you
Send one invite link. The people you choose follow along from their own phones. They can react, leave a comment, and add photos and videos of their own. A parent decides who joins, and can remove anyone.
An invite link is the only way in. It works once and expires after 48 hours. Only the people you invite can open the journal.

Who can see our photos and videos?
Only the people a parent invites. There are no public profiles and no search. An invite link is the only way in, it works once and expires after 48 hours, and a parent can remove anyone.
Is Beansprout free?
Yes. Photos, videos, firsts, and family and friends are free. Beansprout Plus is an optional subscription for the household.
Does the whole family need Plus?
No. One Plus subscription covers every member of the household.
What are the exact Plus limits?
Free videos are up to 90 seconds and play at up to 720p. Plus videos are up to 10 minutes and play at up to 1080p. On Free, the original photo and video files are kept for at least 180 days after upload. On Plus, they're kept for as long as the household is on Plus.
What happens if I stop paying for Plus?
Your photos, videos, and firsts stay exactly where they are, visible to the whole household. The journal goes back to a free paper, new uploads follow the free limits, and the original files start a 180-day clock from that day. Come back within 180 days and nothing is lost.
Can I use Beansprout in a browser?
No. Beansprout is an app for iPhone and Android, and family and friends use the app too.
